Sleeper of a motherboard

Strengths:

just watch gamer’s nexus’ review on this on youtube and you’d be glad you bought this board. Price for an X570 compared to others is a no brainer Buy this board now! if it’s still available

Weaknesses:

limited RGB (shouldn’t be a huge deal as most motherboards lack in this category) availability

Additional Comments:

Overclock CPU capability price is good for what you’re getting solid overall I have a 5900x that i’m probably going to OC to utilize this mobo, paired with a liquid freezer II 420

Solid X570 board for a great price on sale

Strengths:

Built with sturdy materials Simple design and colours appeals to more practical builders not looking for build flair Minimal on board LEDs (If you dislike neon lightshows in your PC) Two - 4 Pin RGB and two - 3 pin Rainbow LED headers (If you like neon lightshows in your PC) Flash BIOs capabilities Quality VRMs 12 + 2 Two PCIe 4.0 M.2 Slots Built in Wifi/Bluetooth PCIe slots with separate buses with no degradation of performance in any usage scenario Chipset and VRMs operate at low temperatures, board retains little heat from other components X570S has no chipset fan, less noise and one less failure point

Weaknesses:

Simple design and colours may be off putting for those who want a more flashy interior on their system No CPU-OPT Fan Header secondary CPU fan needs to be plugged into the CPU-Pump connector Regular price might be off putting for budget builders Only one PCI-E x16 slot operates at x16 Additional PCI-E slots will only be useful for addon cards not GPUs BIOS not as intuitive as other manufacturers MSI Software is unpleasant to work with (Though is there any board software that is good?)

Additional Comments:

A solid motherboard for those looking to build a final quality AM4 PC, it's easy to work with and general placement of connectors are easy to access as building along. The board out of box supported my 5800X3D without a BIOS update, though you may have to update BIOS which is thankfully easy due to onboard BIOS flashing that can be done with just memory and power. Note one issue I had run into on start up was with video output on my GPU, the board had a hard time with multiple outputs on initial boot. The simple fix to this is plug in a single display until you have the system configured, plug in the secondary, restart, and the output should no longer have issues. The pros to cons on this board in my usage case as well as the current sale price is a strong recommendation, the full MSRP is a tough sell to some but if you're dead set on having quality components this board will meet that. At sale price this is a 5/5, at MSRP I'd rate it as a 4/5.
