great cooling when mounted properly sleek, clean look good value, reasonably priced very quiet

obtuse design, lots of hardware that must be reviewed and ensured that the right pieces are in the right place, many of the pieces look VERY similar. terrible documentation, none included in the box. company support website is terribad, welcome to 2001 design. when not mounted properly the system will still cool but not very well (went from 70° C mounted poorly to 40° C when mounted properly) cabling of mobo and lighting could have been better, more wire might have helped, wiring can interfere with mounting so take your time.

It works really well but you MUST make sure that you follow the mounting instructions (which aren't really included in the box) EXACTLY. The design of the mounting plates isn't great, this is more suited around AM4 issues rather than this cooler design but many of the pieces look "similar" but in reality have a giant impact on performance. You must make sure to have the larger cut-out portion at the lower part of the mounting posts, couple that with different mounting holes for Ryzen 5x series means you need to take your time and be confident that you've followed their instructions correctly. Their website sucks too so finding a good set of docs that fully explain the mounting hardware and positioning can be difficult.

This unit worked quietly for about a week. Now it makes a grinding sound on startup which lasts about 10 mins....getting longer every day. I wonder how long it will last before dying completely. And yes, the rad is mounted higher than the pump. I would not recommend buying this unit.
