This laptop has a very fast CPU, GPU, wired/wireless networking, screen and RAM. The SSD is one of the slower ones but NVMe drives are all super fast and the second NVMe slot could be used to boost storage performance and capacity if required. The 130W 3080 mobile GPU is the standout feature (some are gibbled with less than half this much power allocated), combined with the extremely smooth 240Hz display. Great for gaming, but also as a desktop replacement workstation. Great build quality (metal except for plastic underbody). Cooling is effective but understandably loud if you lean on the GPU. When machine is not heavily loaded the fans may not spin at all, making it completely silent. Keyboard layout is excellent (although no numpad which others seem to be able to fit in a 15.6" form factor...) - the keys themselves have good travel but are not the clicky kind. Minimal bloatware installed as shipped. Although primarily a gaming machine (with individually configurable LED backlit keys and high refresh display...) the physical design is a stylish black with a few cheeky angular bits by the hinges. Nothing garish, and you could get away with pulling out such a machine in a corporate environment without raising any eyebrows (maybe disable the disco light keyboard). The battery capacity is somewhat weak - consider this machine a fast workstation/ gaming platform with a hefty built-in UPS rather than a machine that could run all day on a charge. My GPU throttles back under battery power only (this could be configurable, I have not checked). The supplied power brick is huge @ 280W! Combined with the laptop itself this is not the best option for (say) taking to school (large and heavy) or even on long flights - I doubt the average seat outlet on a plane would be up to powering this beast. That said, I love it! :-)

3080 11 gen is with over locking and voltage adjustments. Motherboard has hidden overclocking menu with a ton of adjustments available including memory timings and voltages. Screen is very nice. Nice big keys on the keyboard. Beats most 3070 benchmarks I have seen.
No USB C port. CPU overheats and throttles without undervolting. Could use more USB ports and I would trade the camera for a SD card slot.
Great machine with lots of potential via bios settings. Not outrageously noisy with fans on max. Reasonable price for a 3080 machine. 32gb ram is nice.
