This is NOT USB 3.1

Strengths:

It has a braided cord, and works as a basic, slow, USB 1.x cable.

Weaknesses:

This USB cable comes advertised as USB 3.1. It is not USB 3.1. It has a white connector indicating it is an old USB 1.x. USB 3.x should have blue connectors/ports. It was not recognized as USB 3.x with my Oculus Quest 2.

Additional Comments:

The specifications for this item reads wrong, claiming that it is USB 3.1 when it is not. USB connectors and ports are color coded: White: This usually signifies an old-school USB 1.x connector or port. Black: This color identifies a USB 2.x Hi-Speed connector or port Blue: This signifies a newer USB 3.x SuperSpeed connector or port
