Great Coverage

Strengths:

- Fast - Strong Reliable network coverage - Zero down time - Simple to set up - Has all the basic feature one needs - No need for fancy con fig files - minimal features

Weaknesses:

- minimal features - If you like the control go with a OpenWRT, or Ubiquity that gives you deeper control. - advanced built in logging cost money. ( there are free alternatives like SNORT or WIRE SHARK) - honestly these weakness are a also its strength no room to accidentally miss configure router and leave it unsecured.

Additional Comments:

The DECO X90 promises to be simple easy to maintain and connect. It claims fast stable connectivity and good coverage. It delivers, I am very happy. I have used million dollar radios, and set up enterprise radio systems for GOV and industry. Now working from home I want to do almost zero work on my home network. It does this well. I live rural not only does the coverage impress me for an OMNI direction low gain antenna. When the power goes out and the power is restored the unit boots and connects with out intervention consistently. It has a solid little possessor that handles internal connections and external connections with out effort. My family is happy internet is always on. I you want to learn about networking this is not the router/modem for you. get something that you can configure like a UBIQUITY, or CISCO or can load OPENWRT onto. If your looking for simple, fast home mesh networking, this is a very good product you will not regret. Plug it in set up and forget about it.
