Fantastic Drive

Strengths:

Great speeds and no stalling.

Additional Comments:

I formatted it to NTFS and use it on a USB 3.1 port. Couldn't be happier.

Junk

Weaknesses:

Tried everything to make this usb work for me. full formats different ports ntfs update drivers different files chkdsk turn off anti virus turn of compression etc. This usb would always stall on me. Would go to 40 mb/s then down to 0 and wait, then up to 25, then down to 0 then wait. Rinse repeat. I have an amd 5900x with a msi unify motherboard (from a m.2) with 32 gb of ram, so the hardware is sound. I tried everything the internet had to offer in the way of troubleshooting. Testing the ports and files on other flash drives gives me a write speed of approx 80 mb/s.

Additional Comments:

Maybe its an outlier as a piece of bad hardware but in the end, i should be able to plug this into my rig that I built in the last year and have it just work. It does not.
