Weaknesses:
Material its made of is cheap and will be hard to clean
The way the RGB strip is attached to the pad is super shoddy looking
Additional Comments:
So I bought a new massive desk so I can accommodate 3 monitors as I was in Memory Express to buy my 3rd monitor.
I figured I should get a mouse/desk pad large enough to put my keyboard and mouse on to protect my desk also.
For some reason there weren't any marked prices on any of the mice pads I could see at the display isle at Edmonton south so I just picked this one since it looked largest.
Also I figured its a mouse pad how much would a mouse pad be...
it was 100 bucks, yikes, that is super expensive for a mouse pad.
Everything I buy is typically Corsair or Asus, I like Corsair due to their aesthetics, I was fairly disappointed by the look of this mat. The corsair logo is very blah, its not the traditional logo, its just the word corsair and looks horrible, no style or presentation to the pad.
Also the material this mat is made of is very cheap feeling and since its a cloth it can get dirty easily, however since it has a RGB light strip attached to it, I feel like that will be hard to clean as you cant just throw it in the wash.
Also of note if I try to use the USB hub on the mat to connect my headset which is a Corsair Virtuoso, the mic doesn't work? Weird
I am using it to plug in my mouse which is nice.
My old mouse pad was made of a plasticy top with a rubberized bottom material, that's super nice. I wish I had found a mat this size but made of those materials as its super easy to wash.
A big issue I feel with this mat is the way the RGB strip is connected to the pad, It seems cheap and my hands rest against it and I feel like over a year or more of use this is going to wear and fail, not ideal in a ONE HUNDRED $$$ MOUSE PAD.
