Great when it works.
Can't update drivers most of the time, leads to black screen. Gaming will lead to black screens/restarts. Nothing but issues since grabbing this card.
Would not buy again, hoping it's just a defect or something and I can get a replacement.

There is lots of VRAM on this card, and the OpenCL video encoding is quick, Card stays relatively cool even under high load.
AMD Drivers are terrible, they caused the ASUS Mobo with 5950x to be in a constant error state, while installed in the system. Various HVEC decoding issues in VLC requiring lots of changes to the advanced settings to get running. The performance per dollar, makes this a card thats a 'I need something better than a potato' card.
After running this card for several months now, it has gotten to the point where I've managed to correct or circumvent all the negatives, but if I had to do it all over again, I wouldn't have bought it.

The card is very powerful, it beats many other rtx 3090s in certain games at the 1440p resolution. I game on a super ultra wide display and it still manages to play at 120hz.
For some reason, MSI version of this video card had tons of issues with the black screen of death and blue screen of death. The card had issues with thermals and power draw. I hunted nearly for 4 months until I found a fix, and it turned out to be a firmware issue that wasn't even available to be downloaded from MSI. I found it on the tech power up website where they had benchmarked this card and had the firmware to be downloaded there. I even reached out to MSI (who are in Richmond btw) and they were asking me to pay the shipping even though it was their mess up.
Get the card if you are willing to look for fixes, but now that i told you, it should work out like a dream. 4 stars because i had to wrestle with the issues for nearly 4 months to find a fix during the global pandemic, when RMAs were straight up useless.

+ Really impressive 1080p framerates. + Non-OC benchmarks above average for 6800 XTs (on 3DMark tests I ran, but mileage may vary for you). + Nice little overclock out of the box. + Fully stable so far, and I've been making it work. + Quiet at idle, and relatively quiet under load. + Solid build quality. + Excellent thermals at stock (haven't seen it pass 70 Celsius yet under 95%+ load). + Radeon Adrenalin software is pretty cool, and has key features that I used to have to use Afterburner for. + Better than expected pairing with a 10900K.
- Second time I'm not happy with an MSI anti-sag bracket. For a card this big, recommend simply getting something aftermarket (not a big deal). - Dealing with Dragon Center, and figuring out how to uninstall Dragon Center. - Have yet to understand why this thing needs 16 GB of VRAM, but maybe I'm missing something. Guess too much is better than too little. Rig Dependent: This is a big card, just under 13 inches according to online info. Take measurements before purchase.
Upgraded to this from an RTX 2070 Super. Really happy with this upgrade. Ran several benchmarks (e.g. 3DMark), and it consistently performed better than most other 6800 XTs. Comes with a small overclock right out of the box. Have not overclocked it yet, because I don't want to void the warranty until I'm ready. But out of the box it takes whatever you throw at it (at 1080p). So far it's really, really solid with 1080p gaming. My main game in Mount and Blade Bannerlord, and this card has absolutely no problem running everything at max (again, on 1080p). FYI - I'm running a 10900K at stock with this. Was somewhat apprehensive about using a 6800 XT with this, because reviewers / enthusiasts normally pair this with Ryzen 5800x / 5900x / 5950x. Turned out fine, even though I'm on pcie 3.0 and haven't done whatever bios / configuration tweaks the more savvy folks are doing.

Picked up this card at memory express in Winnipeg and it’s pretty solid. Gpu clocks of 2500 MHz core out of the box boost and it stays super cool. Undervolted like a champ 2000mhz all day at 138w power draw. Stays 52c as a max temp gaming all day in a Corsair 4000D airflow case.
Need the latest Windows 10 release to properly utilize the cards functions like ray tracing for games like World of Warcraft. Need a good recent cpu to take full advantage of its raw power. Even my wife’s 1700x overclocked to 3.9 ghz still can’t fully utilize the gpu and its cpu bottlenecked even at 1440p.
Amazing card I gave this card to my wife for her build I’ll be picking up another no question for myself. 144fps + in 1440p max settings in everything I’ve thrown at it.
