Amazing 3070 - one of the best 30 series cards

Strengths:

- Runs extremely cool and quiet - Sleek looking, one of the nicest triple fans design this generation - EVGA support is top tier

Weaknesses:

N/A

Additional Comments:

One of the best looking well priced 30 series cards on the market, runs extremely cool and efficient will slay any game thrown at it!

Excellent card...maybe the best 3070 available

Strengths:

-Nice looking card -Runs very cool with very low fan speeds (this has the same cooler as the 3080 and 3090 XC3) -Not real heavy considering the cooling...doesn't sag, but I have a $16 support for it (Amazon) -Nice, subtle RGB -You can't beat EVGA's customer support & warranty. I have had other EVGA cards and have 3 of their power supplies. -Bought it for DCS World at 1440p and it finally runs smooth on high settings (w/5600x)

Weaknesses:

-Price. Way over MSRP, but $829 is reasonable considering other retailers/scalpers

Additional Comments:

I was looking at the ASUS TUF card based on reviews, but this one came available and I don't regret the purchase. Every bit a good as the TUF card.

Dr

Strengths:

-priced reasonable(have sat through 700-3000 series and cards are always 300-400us) -evga warranty is good/step up program -light(have a 3060 ti FE and have installed a 3070 FE) and this card feels considerably lighter without feeling cheap. -Was in stock(lets be honest thats a strength right now) .

Weaknesses:

~aesthetics could have been better(Evga logo is argb, geforce isnt even lit. -can see some having issues with size(it’s closer to 2.5) -all of these cards should come with a gpu support(i mean sure they can throw in a 5-10$ bracket) -literally came with nothing, not even port plugs.

Additional Comments:

Have to say, quite a leap this gen. Finally retiring my 1070 ti’s and having the 3060 ti, I can safely say that the 3070 simply is the 1440p card to have. I have it paired with a 3600, and is a great match. I also have access to a set up with a 3300x, and again a great match(yes 4/8). Ran benchmarks on SOTR and easily handled 100+fps/1440p Cyberpunk I don’t own, but with 3300x and 3070, ultra RT on, DLSS balanced 1440p/78fps, and same settings 4k(50” tv) 54fps average, some big drops though. If you are pushing 1440p/4k this is the card for decent fps. If you are primarily 1080p, and occasional 1440p, skip this and grab a 3060 ti. This card, was my third choice, but that was for build scheme, not specs. Satisfied completely.
