The Club 3D CAC-1079 is an Active Optical Unidirectional DisplayPort™ Cable that allows support for 8.1Gbps per channel. It supports 4K at 120Hz resolution as well as 8K at 60Hz and HDR formats. This optical fiber cable can be applied to outdoor displays, LED signboards, home cinema displays, conference rooms, medical imaging equipment or security systems to transfer audio and video signals.
New feature included in the Specification is Display Stream Compression (DSC) 1.2, this is used for video formats higher than 8K with 4:2:0.
