Sad Day

Strengths:

Easy setup VPN -easy setup and manage Great speed readings

Weaknesses:

Died too soon Random drop outs

Additional Comments:

Didn't last one year, just lost connection to internet one day. Both wired and wireless connections affected. Several attempts to reset or change settings of device. Factory reset did not bring it back.

Nope

Strengths:

Good Signal Strength

Weaknesses:

6 Months in and it started dropping, taking all devices offline including the directly connected one. Web interface becomes inaccessible every few days (as in you get a page not found error unless you manually reboot. Scheduled parental can not have overlapping time frames. Otherwise I have to turn devices off one by one manually, which actually doesn't work to well because active devices show up randomly on the connected device list. Good luck finding a device on the offline list, again randomly shows up. I setup the router to self reboot twice a week to combat some of these problems with no success on it actually doing what its suppose to.

Additional Comments:

I am genuinely sick of ASUS products, Iv had mother boards and graphics cards, and at the beginning I thought finally a product that actually works well. But nope, I've had D-Link routers run for run for a year straight with no problems. And certainly not this many problems. Not interested in the 1 year factory warranty as Id rather spend the extra cash on a brand that'll hold up. I am completely done with ASUS I feel I've given them more the a good chance, but all I get is failure after failure. My friends have had similar problems too. "How is this company so popular?"
