Great price point, functional

Strengths:

By far the best price point for a B550 motherboard. Works fine with a Ryzen 7 5800X (UEFI firmware update required, can be done prior to installing CPU via Q-flash). BIOS interface is clean and functional - I was able to set the CPU/Fan settings easily.

Weaknesses:

An extra fan header would be nice - but there are splitters for that.

Additional Comments:

Great board for the price point.

Ryzen build for non overclocking or stock build only

Strengths:

Lots of feautures on the cheapest B550 board around. Supports up to 3200mhz Ram Speeds, supports RGB, VRM heatsink, dual M.2, decent rear I/O, 2 case fan connector, 1 cpu cooler connector, lots of SATA ports, Usb Gen1/Gen2 and it even has QFlash.

Weaknesses:

Heatsink is tiny.

Additional Comments:

I used it with 3600XT, 1660Ti and 3200mhz 16gb Ram. I seriously dont trust this board with Ryzen 9 or the newest Ryzen CPU's that just came out. I dont think it has enough power and ofcourse the heatsink might overheat due to its size. We overclock to prove we are smart or because we can or maybe we just cant afford high end parts. But doesnt overclocking reduces the life span of PC parts??? Thats why I bought the cheapest board in town and partnered it with a Ryzen 5 that has the most clock speed. Im 100% sure it can Handle Ryzen 7 up to 3800XT. PLEASE THINK OF THE CHILDREN AND DONT OVERCLOCK! :D

Cheapest B550 I could find, works great

Strengths:

-Price -Good BIOS -Neutral colour scheme -Well labeled, easy to find whats what on the board

Weaknesses:

-only has 3 fan connectors (1 for CPU fan and 2 for case fans)

Additional Comments:

Cheapest B550 board I could find as I wanted to remain out of obsolesce for as long as possible. Fairly simple MATX motherboard, not loaded with features but for the price it was one of the few boards with support for 3200 RAM. I haven't used any other BIOS, but this one is very straight forward and I was able to mess around in it with no confusion. No complaints really, has all the headers in reasonable locations and was not hard to route cables to their spots on the MOBO. One thing I did wish it had was maybe one more fan header, as I would possibly consider adding a third case fan if it did, but I am assuming if you're buying this board like me you don't have a super high end system, so 2 case fans should be plenty. Also if you are curious there are a couple headers on the board that are not shown on the photos of the board: -CPU fan header at the top of the board, just to the left of the top of the ram slots -fan header right below "ultra durable" heat sink -RGB header right above 24 pin power header -all case headers are at the bottom of the board
