Shielded Memory Routing

All memory routing is under the PCB inner layer shielded by a large ground layer to protect from external interference. Protective routing utilizes POOL technique which ground on top/bottom layer of the PCB with border stitching vias connecting both, creates a complete ground cage that seals the critical high speed signal traces in an interference free inner layer.

Daisy Chained Memory Layout Design

With the optimized daisy-chain routing, this Z490 Vision Series motherboard provides a proven speed up to DDR4-4600+ MHz, with high density DESIGNARE Memory 32GB modules. Single 32GB RAM Support
Maximum memory capacity on this Z490 motherboard is 128GB (4x 32GB). After Intel updated the memory reference code, single RAM slots now support up to 32GB. Therefore, when populated with 2x DIMM per channel, the total memory capacity is 128GB, which used to be only available on High End Desktop (HEDT) platforms.
