True wide angle photography ultra wide angle zoom lens for Nikon DSLRs
An ultra-wide-angle zoom lens that is ideal for capturing the grandeur of landscapes and creating a strong sense of perspective.
The minimum focusing distance is only 240mm, so a small nearby subject can be shot against a far-of background.
SLD glass and aspherical lens elements deliver high image quality throughout the entire zoom range. Models equipped with HSM offer fast and quiet autofocusing.
Features
This super wide-angle zoom lens with fast F3.5 maximum aperture throughout the entire zoom range is designed exclusively for digital cameras. It is perfectly suited for all around picture-taking including low light conditions indoors or at dusk.
Two ELD (Extraordinary Low Dispersion) glass elements and a SLD (Special Low Dispersion) glass element along with four aspherical lenses provide excellent correction of color aberration and distortion ensuring top optical performance in a compact and lightweight lens.
Inner focusing system eliminates front lens rotation making the lens particularly suitable for using the petal-type hood (blocks extraneous light and reduces internal reflection) and polarizing filter.
Hyper Sonic Motor (HSM) ensures quiet, and high speed auto-focus as well as full time manual focusing capability.

This Sigma Zoom Lens is guaranteed under the Gentec International warranty against manufacturing defects for 7 years from the date of the original purchase.
During this 7 year period, repairs or adjustments will be made free of charge upon presentation of the original bill of sale when returning the product, along with $15.00 to cover shipping charges.
This warranty does not cover damage caused by impact, water, sand, battery leakage nor by accident, misuse or unauthorized repair. Transport and insurance charges to a Gentec International service depot are the responsibility of the owner.
