nVIDIA GeForce 8800GTS(G92)* / 8800GT and ATI Radeon HD 3870 / 3850 Compatibility
The Accelero S1 Rev. 2 is fully compatible with GeForce 8800GTS(G92)* / 8800GT and Radeon HD 3870 / 3850 graphic cards. Using the Accelero S1 Rev. 2, both Radeon HD 3870 / 3850 and GeForce 8800GTS(G92)* / 8800GT graphic cards have been tested and confirmed that they operate well within the specifications under full load operation. The Accelero S1 Rev. 2 not only cools both high performance GPUs, absolutely noiseless and maintenance free, but it also achieves a far lower temperature when compared to the standard coolers and thus offers overclocking potential and a longer service life.
To further improve the cooling performance, the Turbo Module - a twin fan add-on, is recommended for all enthusiast gamers.
* GeForce 8800GTS(G92): In order to guarantee sufficient cooling performance, a Turbo Module may be added.
SLI Compatibility
Accelero S1 Rev.2 is compatible with SLI configuration by having a longer flexible SLI cable to go around the top of heat sink that connects both cards. The bundled SLI cable from motherboard is usually not long enough. A 12cm long SLI cable can be purchase in our online Shop if necessary.

Voltage Regulator Heat Spreader Module
Voltage Regulator heat spreader module is designed to fit for all X1950Pro graphic cards meeting ATI standard layout (reference design). However there are not every graphic card manufacturers following the standard board design. For example some AGP graphic cards have difference layout and some designs basically not required to install Heat Spreader. The following drawings show the ATI standard board layout with Voltage Regulator Heat Spreader installation. Please check your graphic card to have the proper installation of the Voltage Regulator Heat Spreader.
Mod of Voltage Regulator Heat Spreader Module for Sapphire X1950Pro AGP
Since Sapphire X1950Pro AGP card places 2 power sockets on the card and one of the power socket conflicts with the Voltage Regulator Heat Spreader Module. Users can cut off a small piece of Voltage Regulator Heat Spreader away to resolve the conflict. Another method is to stick RAM heat sinks on the voltage regulator for heat dissipation.
Compatibility
With this height restriction drawing you can check your VGA board for compatibility with our cooler.
First you have to check the position of the mounting holes. Then check the height of the components.
If some components are slightly higher than our fancasing allows, you can relatively easy cut the fan casing.
To do so we suggest you first to uninstall the fancasing bottom. Then cut the bottom in the area of the component that caused the conflict and reinstall the bottom again.
