Connectivity to Microsoft Exchange Server 2000 or later is required for certain advanced functionality in Outlook 2007. Dynamic Calendars require server connectivity. Instant Search requires Microsoft Windows Desktop Search 3.0.
Connectivity to Microsoft Windows Server 2003 with SP1 or later running Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services is required for certain advanced collaboration functionality. Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 is required for certain advanced functionality.

OEM MLK Software
Office OEM MLK and Office Ready software must be distributed with a fully assembled computer system and must be pre-installed by a System Builder. Office Ready system includes a free 60-day trial and can converted to a full product by purchasing a Medialess License Kit (MLK) at the time of purchase with the system or within 90 days of PC purchase.
Medialess License Kits (MLK) contain suite specific product keys which enable end customers to "unlock" either Microsoft Office Basic 2007, Small Business 2007, or Professional 2007. This kit does not contain any backup media. Customers can obtain backup media directly from Microsoft.
How can I obtain Backup Media for MLKs?
Although the new Medialess License Kits do not contain media, customers who purchase 2007 Microsoft Office software with a new PC are eligible to receive backup media for up to 90 days after purchase. Customers can acquire backup media via the following methods:
1) Customers can go to
http://www.microsoft.com/office/backup to receive their recovery media directly from Microsoft.
2) Customers can also use the Windows Vista Business backup feature to create a system backup.
