- Certain inking features require running OneNote 2003 on the Microsoft Windows XP Tablet PC Edition
- Enhanced inking features in OneNote SP2 requires Windows XP Tablet PC Edition 2005
- The Shared Sessions feature in OneNote SP2 requires an Internet connection, DirectX 8.1 or later (DirectX 9.0b or later recommended), and a router that supports Universal Plug and Play (UPnP)
OEM Software
