Not much point for this thing. You might as well just buy a new USB keyboard instead because it's really hit and miss as to whether it will work or not.
Summary:
I have an older but perfectly functional Microsoft keyboard with the PS2 type connector. It's an ergonomic keyboard so I had hoped it would work, but after plugging in this adapter, the USB does not even see the keyboard. Unfortunately the computer at work doesn't have a PS2 connector for my keyboard. It's probably less expensive for me to buy a new USB keyboard than to try that other upgraded USB adapter.
My keyboard wasn't recognized with this adapter. A little more research showed some keyboards need the more expensive signal converter. Wasted my money, but it might not be the same for everyone.
