Dynamic wireless channel hopping with adjustable sensitivity
Fast routing speed
Ability to turn off WPS feature for security
Lots of ram for p2p connections
Ability to run open firmware
Weaknesses:
No QOS
Summary:
I purchased this router to replace my venerable WRT54GS running Tomato, to enable me to move to the 5ghz band due to congestion issues in my neighbourhood. For my devices that remain on 2.4 ghz the channel hopping feature has worked well, and I haven't noticed any range decrease in the 5 ghz band.
So far it's been rock solid, and the web based firmware update procedure when I initially powered it on went well.
