Amazing drive. If you love physical media, then you'd be stupid not to get this affordable option drive.

Strengths:
- Great versatile burner with a variety of options for media. - Amazing performance in terms of burn times. - Reliable burns - Simple plug in setup, has dual USB interface for burns. Draws the power from there, no extra power source needed or available. - Sturdy, small form factor plastic enclosure, the best I have found - USB TV functionality, including playing 3D blu-rays - Ideal for laptops (with 2 USB plugs on one side, cable is short) or alternative to external superdrive for a Mac Mini
Weaknesses:
- No software included for full Mac functionality. Works out of box, but Toast & Mac Blu-ray player are the best options for burning and viewing. There a free options, but not as easy. - Out of date software for PC (Version 9 for a reason). The reason is PowerDVD 10 didn't have Blu-ray functionality implemented. So this is somewhat of a strength. Although, the recently released PowerDVD 11 does. But I doubt this will be changed soon. - Quad/Trip layer disks not available yet.
Summary:
I could not be happier with this product. I wanted to add Blu-ray functionality to my Mac(I'd says use with 2008 & later models). Haha, take that Zombie Steve Jobs. It works well with PCs and I love that I can plug this into the USB port on some TVs and use it to play Blu-rays or other disks. It seems like there is nothing this "little drive that could" can't do. I have tried it in a variety of capacities Mac/PC/TV. Compared to other drives, there is no better option and the cost is low.
