Poor Range - Dropped connection

Strengths:

Recommend by staff so it must do something well. Seems to work fine if you router is unobstructed and close to your devices.

Weaknesses:

In my older plaster walled home it doesn't do well geting to difficult locations. Slow to reboot. 2GHz range seems barely adequate and 5GHZ range aweful. Doesn't stand on its side unless you lean it, so it takes up more room on your desk.

Summary:

Perhaps avoid this product if you want extra range. Reviews at smallnetbuilder show that it doesn't get to those difficult locations as well as some of it competitors. Test it quickly! Exchanging it after 7 days is not an option at Memory Express either, unless they test for a couple days and find it "defective". This will likely be a paper weight because I missed the 7 day return window.
