Great Keyboard

5/5

Strengths:
1. Bright and adjustable back lighting. 2. Quick way to disable the windows key. (so you wont tab out gaming). 3. Keys are close together for minimum distance for strokes. 4. Offers one USB 2.0 extension as well as microphone and headphone jack extension on the right side of the keyboard. 5. Razer Configurator support. (makes it easy to create complex macros). 6. Quick Media Keys (volume up, down and mute. play, stop, forward and backward. 7. Mechanical. 8. very comfortable to type with.
Weaknesses:
1. having the buttons close together takes some time to get used to. 2. keyboard is heavy. (as to be expected with any mechanical keyboard). 3. Keyboard Design is really hit and miss. (if you don't like it consider just buying the Non-Battlefield 3 version of the Black Widow Ultimate).
Summary:
Its a great keyboard for any gamer or typer. Very comfortable to use and having the added media functions really is a great feature. it looks great and is definitely a must buy for most gamers. however the keyboard is a bit expensive so if money is tight I would pick up the regular Black Widow, the only difference from the ultimate is back lighting and you wont have the USB 2.0, microphone and headphone extension. I if you don't like the design just get the Non-Battlefield 3 version.

I never thought I'd buy a $139 keyboard!

Strengths:
- Amazing accuracy for FPS games, the tactile and audible feedback is really nice - the pressure of the keys seems really nice (I haven't used a keyboard with mechanical buttons before so I'm not a pro on the different types of Cherry switches) - heavy! I like heavy! it feels like its been built with a purpose and is well built for years of gaming - light up keyboard.....it seems to cheesy but I love the fact that it lights up, does help with gaming in the dark
Weaknesses:
- The keys seem a lot closer together than a standard keyboard, it games awesome and I haven't had any issues with that, but typing is still a bit of an issue, but I think it will just take some time to get used to - the macro key row....not sure if I like it there or not, will probably take some time to get used to as well, always finding my fingers off by a little bit because I put them on the edge of the keys
Summary:
Overall, Very impressed with my first Razer product
