Great but bad ethernet card

- This is my first foray into ASUS computers, as well as a 'high-spec' gaming laptop. I've bought ASUS parts before but this is my first complete system by them. So far, 5 days with it, I am impressed with this particular model even though I am already planning hardware upgrades straight out of the box (WiFi & SSD). If I could give half-star rating this would be a 4.5 but since I'm a rounding-up kind of guy it gets a 5. Always a pleasure to purchase from ME as well. G74SeXy!

- - Very well built, quality parts that make the laptop run very smoothly - Fan is very quiet - Air intake/ Heat Sync is at the back of the Laptop, not underneath - Many ports for different cables - Comes with Asus gaming mouse and Targus laptop bag - both very high quality

- - A bit heavy, but worth it. I made the switch from Desktop to Laptop and the weight is a big differnce. - Initial Backup process requires four (4) DVDs and takes over a hour to complete.
- Summary:
- As a gamer but also someone who build computers I did my research on what I wanted for a good laptop, this one has it all. An all around solid product, worth every penny.

- What a great Laptop, Picked one up today, it was ready to go. Came with Targus backpack and ASUS gaming mouse. Been installing new games and running it on the highest settings. It handles them very very well. Fan is very quiet for a laptop this size, and the sleek design is exactly what I was after.
