Great CPU

- Built my new system around this beauty and it saved me enough over the Intel options to snag an SSD and a new case and stay on Budget. The only thing limiting this processor will be if you pair it with a crappy video card , slow hard drive and then blame the processor. Playing SWTOR at full resolution and it purrs right along. Frankly if you want to pay more then waste your money on an Intel chip only so you can brag about throwing money around.

- I bought this cpu on boxing day with a Giagbyte mobo and 8gig ram for under 300 bucks. It has performed fantastic so far. I upgraded from a dual core setup which obviously is night and day compared to this cpu. Really buddy a 1 star? I think memory express should verify product owners before allowing product reviews. I switched buying parts from Ncix to memory express because of the prices and service.
Unbeatable Value for the Money

- Have had this for a month now (bought on Boxing Day). Oh sure, there are Intel HyperThreading Quad Cores that will (slightly) outperform this -- but they are double the price. If you're on a budget and need more cores you can't beat this CPU.
Great Chip, Great Price

If your looking for a great, very overclock friendly, cheap CPU, you've found it. I've had mine overclocked to 5.1Ghz (5.0795 actually), stable (15 hour Prime95), on a Coolermaster V8 Cooler. Idle: 27C-33C Under load: 65C-69C. But have performed all my real world benches on stock speed. (temps are after 18C offset added)

- May not perform as high as Intel, in the outdated benchmarks, but you're also not paying almost $100 more.

- Although Benchmarks has this chip looking like a downgrade from a Phenom II. So far in REALWORLD usage it has definitely outperformed my i7-2600 in Battlefield 3, Crysis 2 and Batman Arkham City. It has rar'd files faster, converted video as fast and is clocked 300Mhz lower than my i7. It did less or the same as the intel chip in many other games etc, but you're only paying $100 less. Not to mention pairing it with a decent board (990) won't cost you as much as the intel option.

- If you are looking for multitasking, this is the processor for you, I can't believe what a pathetic review Simon gave this processor, clearly an Intel fanboy. And speed, really? What speed? What speed do you honestly need more than this processor? If you're referring to games, then wow, get a better graphics card, your processor is not designed for graphics processing anyways. Also if you know a thing or two about computer just bump this thing up to 4GHz or higher and there you go, faster.
AMD FX-8210 Processor

- I've read some early negatives about this CPU but I have nothing but praise. The price is low and it's great to have an unlocked processor. I'm overclocking at 4.1GHz on a Sabertooth 990FX, and that's just quickly messing around with AI Suite - I haven't tried seeing what I can really get out of it. My average temp is around 27°C in a well ventilated case. After stress testing it for an hour in Prime95 it got up to 39°C with no errors on any of the cores so I can't ask much more for my needs.
