- Strengths:
- - cherry mx red
- light keys
- quiet for night time gamers
- aluminum body (easy to clean)
- easy to reach media controls
- same force required to press as the blue but without the clacking and tactile bump
- Weaknesses:
- - rubber feet almost non existent and tends to slide around
- not really a weakness, but esc + f1 - f12 keys are not cherry mx reds (minus for someone looking for a keyboard with keys that all have red switches)
- really light key presses are less forgiving than mechanicals with tactile bump or requiring more force (blacks)
- no back lighting (does not really matter for me, but others like the light for playing in the dark)
- Summary:
- A very well built keyboard from corsair and if you are looking for a good quality gaming keyboard this is probably the way to go. It's easy to clean, quiet and it has an aluminum body.
Its All Good

- Strengths:
- Good build quality
- Weaknesses:
- Various
- Summary:
- All of the keys are NOT Cherry MX Red mechanical switches. F1 through F12, Esc, PrtScn, Scroll Lock, Pause/Break, Insert, Home, Page Up Page Down, Delete, and End keys are tuned silicon dome keyswitches. These keys have a different feel than the main typing keys. People on the internet are complaining of rapid wear of the key lettering. It seems the keys may NOT be laser etched. The USB cord has two male ends. Why does this keyboard need two USB ports? Is one plug for the pass-through USB port?
Just a Great Product

- Feels great.
Looks great.
Excellent design.
Functionality is there.
Wrist rest is actually quite nice.
Extra keys for FPS/MMOG are very nice, as well as the easy tool to swap the keys.
I prefer the original keys over the extra red textured wasd123456 keys.
Windows key lock button = nice.
Drum roller volume = nice.
Leds for caps/scroll/num minimalistic = nice.
No moulding around the keys will make the kbb easy to clean.
It just feels really nice to type with.
- Weaknesses:
- No backlight. But I knew that buying it.
- Summary:
- If this kbb looks to be your style, buy it. You won't be disappointed with the performance.
great simple product
