- Summary:
- Got this on sale for $149.99! Not sure if it came preloaded with the lastest firmware but I updated it as soon as I installed it just in case. Works great and is a solid choice for first time SSD buyers.
Awesome

-Cool/quiet
- Weaknesses:
- None so far.
- Summary:
- I tried using an OCZ Agility 3 and my experience was terrible. I got nothing but blue screens and dropping offline drives constantly with it. As soon as I saw this bad boy on sale I had to try it out. So far so good. SO much more reliable, write speed might not be as fast as an agility3/vertex3 but the read speed is just as good. I ran some benchmarks and averaged 202MB write and 545MB read.

Very easy to install
No problems encountered so far, either on install or since it has been up and running.
- Weaknesses:
- Does not come with a cable- ( Normal - but you need to understand this)
Not a huge amount of storage but you can get a 2TB drive to handle all your other storage for around $200.
- Summary:
- This is the first time I have installed a solid state drive in a desktop and I am very happy that I did.
I paid $200 for this drive and it was worth every cent. If you can get it on sale then jump at it.
I spent 2 weeks reading reviews on solid state drives and concluded that this one was the one that was most recommended.
I will never be able to go back to a normal drive for my operating system. A must have for me from now on.
BEST DRIVE ON THE MARKET, PERIOD.

- Strengths:
- -Fast
-Reasonable price W.O mail in rebate
-Reliable, and this is not marketing bull (accidentally defraged the drive for about a month, big no no for SSD's. but I'm impressed that its still working not only performing the same day that i bought it)
-Probably could survive thermal nuclear war its that reliable.
-almost all firmware updates are a PERFORMACE upgrade.
- Weaknesses:
- -Apparently there is a bug that causes bsods after 5000hrs, but who keeps there comp on for 7 MONTHS at a time.
- I honestly considered the bug as a benefit, Because it shows how boss Crucial is for that they where the ones who discovered it, and released a patch same-day.
- Summary:
- I did buy another one of these drives because they are that awesome. Even though the OCZ and other sand force based SSD's are cheaper and slightly faster, (end users don't notice the difference of 30mbs. even in games as well) The m4's are better still, they're the most RELIABLE drive on the market and I will stand by it with my personal experience with these drives. I would put 10 out of 5 stars but its only letting me put 5 out of 5.
A great boot drive

- Strengths:
- Fast boot-up and application launch times.
Works out of the box without much tweaking, make sure motherboard is set to use AHCI mode.
Great company that stands behind their products with timely fixes and firmware upgrades.
You get 128GB vs 120GB for most competing Sandforce-drives.
- Weaknesses:
- Slightly pricier than the competing Sandforce-based drives.
- Summary:
- Great drive to have for OS installation.
FAST!
