- Strengths:
- Have been using awesome, Made in Taiwan Corsair RAMs on Macs for a few years now. Always quality at rock bottom prices and I put my Macs through 18 hours of use a day avg. Even at night, they serve out media throughout the night, never shut them down.
Bought the non-Mac version (was cheaper at the time last year) and used them on a unibody 13" Macbook (still not called the "Pro"), and 3 Macbook Pros 15". 2 early 2011, and now the latest late 2011 2.4GHz. No problems and they don't heat up.
- Weaknesses:
- How can it be this cheap!?! I bought it at $50 and I thought it was a steal then. Even at $50, I've been extremely happy because I was able to rock 8GBs since last year. Just upgraded to 16GBs of corsair RAM on my new MBP late 2011. RAM prices are predicted to go up soon, so I beefed up all my Macs at home. It's stupid not to.
- Summary:
- What can I say, unless you absolutely do not need 8GBs of RAM (save MONEY when you can), it would be silly not to upgrade. My browser alone consumes upto 1GB of RAM and at 4GBs in total, it was a little constraining just doing routine browsing, media consumption, etc. Cheap yet quality on Macbook and Macbook Pros from 2009 to current gen. Best upgrade money spent, period.

- Strengths:
- Excellent price point.
Easy to install.
Will work with any Mac which supports DDR3 RAM - even those manufactured in early 2009.
- Weaknesses:
- None, works exactly as advertised.
- Summary:
- Lion is extremely memory hungry - it can consume 4 GB of memory with just a few applications running. Bring your Mac back to life with this upgrade.

- Cheaper than what Apple wants for the same memory.
Really boost the performance with 8Gb of Ram rather than the stock 2 Gb, which makes iMovie and Aperture run so much faster!
Can't complain when I'm getting it for $40.
- Weaknesses:
- None really.
