Good Little Drive

- -Blazingly Fast: Boot times for Winows 7 are about halved. Resume from Hibernate/Sleep cut by more than half. Data-intensive programs opening/running faster now -Running Cool: Significantly less heat being generated from old drive, nice for mobile use -Running Silent: Noise from previous mechanical drive is gone (spin ups, heavy load) -Better Battery Life: Less power draw means better battery life under use when mobile

- I bought this drive about a month ago on sale/with rebate to replace a 250GB-7200 RPM drive in an old laptop of mine I was re-purposing for a multimedia laptop. After making sure the Firmware was current (2.15) using an external adapter, i proceded to install Windows 7 and a bunch of programs that i use regularly. So far I haven't had any troubles with it, and in the day to day use all I notice is that everything is faster. Also cooler and quieter, which is very nice.
So far so good

- I was going to purchase the ocz vertex 3 120 gb or the agility 3 120 gb, but most of the staff compelled me to get corsair instead. According to them, ocz drives fail more than twice, but corsair is fast and reliable, though a bit pricey. So far I'm piling it, 90 gb is more than enough for me. I've used the ocz vertex 2 prior to this in my system and that never failed me, but I added a marvell controller based Asus U3S6 expansion card, so not the best speeds, but very satisfied. Recommended
