Excellent RAM for SandyBridge motherboards

Strengths:

Low form factor
Huge capacity
Compatible with SandyBridge MBs
Reasonable price

Weaknesses:

Gets rather warm under load

Summary:

I was using Corsair Vengeance 16GB DDR3 1600MHz CL9 dual channel kit (4 x 4GB) CMZ16GX3M4A1600C9 with ASUS P8P67 Deluxe (Rev 3.0) SandyBridge MB and had lots of problems with overclocking the CPU and setting the timing of the modules. Even with no overclocking and default BIOS setting I could not bring the system up from sleep getting a message complaining that the RAM has gone to sleep state. To my surprise, this new RAM magically solved the problem! I mean magical because it seems that the memory chips used are the same but the circuitry and packaging differ. Now the computer can go to sleep and wake up with no problem even in overclock mode. Very pleased with this purchase.
