Pyro works with the Mac Mini Mid 2011 model

Strengths:

SandForce 2200 series controller that works with Macs, particularly my Mac Mini Core i5 2.3Ghz as a second drive in the chassis. I had to buy the iFixit Dual hard drive upgrade kit to have this installed in. No fuss, works like a charm after being cloned with OSX Lion. The beauty of drive is that, it has its own garbage collection and wear levelling mechanism to extend drive lifespan.

Weaknesses:

I have to make OSX Lion aware this SSD drive supports TRIM, though it is not as essential function due to its native garbage collection function.

Summary:

This drive is excellent value for the money; performance and reliability wise. I have Patriot memory in my older Macbook and it had performed well over the years. Want speed, but a substantial savings in your pocket, this Pyro drive will not disappoint you!
