Strengths:
FAST!!
Weaknesses:
It didn't come with 3.5" brackets.
Summary:
This drive came with firmware version 3.50 so I went and updated it to version 3.55 before installing Win 7 x64 SP1. I benchmarked it with CrystalDiskMark and got 244MB/s and 163MB/s sequential read/write. Pretty fast. Lost a star for not including 3.5" brackets. So far its pretty good and fast. Only time will tell if version 3.55 firmware fixes all of the known bugs. I got IPR just in case.

FIRMWARE UPGRADE!

Strengths:
Fast Cheap Good Size
Weaknesses:
Out of the box this needed a firmware update.
Summary:
This SSD will give multiple file errors eventually, unless you update the firmware. New firmware can be downloaded from OCZ's website. A bit of a pain in the butt, as I installed windows on it twice before looking online and finding many people were having the same issues with corrupted files that I was having. I went back and installed windows on my older smaller intel SSD as I don't trust this one to handle my OS.

Excellent

Strengths:
Fast, Cheap and Easy to install
Weaknesses:
None
Summary:
I hear many people are having issues with it. I got it installed in my macbook in no time and seriously my mac boots just as fast as the macbook airs. I think upgrading the firmware helps and I will see if quits anytime soon. But seriously for the price of $100 you can ask for everything.

Worst OCD SSD I've owned...

Strengths:
Worked relatively quickly on inital install and run...
Worked well on a Dell Xeon workstation as an upgrade.
Faster than any 7200RPM I've used.
Weaknesses:
Quit after three weeks and corrupted both my boot OS and VM.
RMA started, no reply from OCZ with RMA # after 24 hours with pre-approval from their phone tech support.
Claims by dozens of other users online a OCZ's forum of boot/corruption issues.
Summary:
I would not recommend this drive at ALL. Buy a Vertex 2 or 3, but do NOT buy this drive. Even with the IPR - it's a joke having to return it every week. OCZ should be ashamed of these drives as every other OCZ I owned (Vertex 2 and 3) was an excellent experience as long as I updated to the latest firmware. They don't even have a utiity or support mechanisms on the site in place for these units.

Worth the price

Strengths:
dirt cheap
Weaknesses:
some consitancy issues. occasionally have to check the disk
Summary:
pretty happy with this, it makes my computer feel way faster. I have had it for a month and no serious problems. the occasional consistancy checks make me feel like dependability may be a problem in the future, but so far so good. Also this drive was at least 35% less money than any other 120GB ssd on the market so I am willing to look past some problems.

File Corruption

Strengths:
Fast, when it doesn't corrupt my files
Weaknesses:
I have the same file corruption issues as other people. I've re-installed windows 4 times and now I am in an RMA process with OCZ. My old hard drive worked much better than this one. I've had it 4 weeks now.
Summary:
STAY AWAY from OCZ!

Great SSD

Rob Mundy from Edmonton writes:
Strengths:
If it works in your hardware it is very fast, responsive
Weaknesses:
NOT compatable with certain Intel chipsets, in particular the Intel 945PM, 945GM and I also get reports it is not compatable with the 945GSM chipset. So far no response from OCZ but lots of people starting to complain already in their forums. Apparently windows can't complete installs (all versions), Linux (Ubuntu) crashes as well on reboot. I assume all operating systems will fail
Summary:
It is still a new drive, great speed. Maybe OCZ will iron out the stability issues, maybe not. In the meantime, particularily if you are planning on using with an Intel 945 chipset, I recommend another model, the Vertex 2 works fine, better than the Kingston V100, but it does work as well.

So far, so good

Strengths:
Way faster than a 7200rpm notebook drive
160MB/s avg read
Works well in Toshiba Tecra A11
Has TRIM support
Best Price/GB SSD
Weaknesses:
Unsure about long term reliability
Quite a bit slower than newer SSDs (even first gen Sandforce)
A lot more expensive than a mechanical drive
Summary:
Got one of these to replace a mechanical drive in a Toshiba Tecra 11. Installation was simple, take out old hard drive, take off hard drive cage and put it onto SSD, put SSD back in the system and done. Installed Windows 7 Professional x64 afterwards, installation took a bit over 10 minutes. No problems so far.
