works in 3 2011 MacBook Pros so far! Superb after 8 months of use

Strengths:
Had this for more than 6 months from MemExp. Great product and has no issues whatsoever with the latest MacBook Pro 15" 2.4GHz Core i7. So it should be backward compatible for the older Mac's using Intel's platform requiring DDR3s. I thought getting them at $47 was a steal, and now, this price!!! Does not heat up crazy like other 4GB laptop modules I've tried.
Weaknesses:
I'm a perfectionist and highly critical of anything and everything. Yet the only thing I could think of that could improve this product experience for me would be if Memory Express gave away this product for free.
Summary:
Get them for MacBook Pros, don't waste money on Mac specific memory modules that are 3X or more in price.

what a deal

works, good price

When did memory get so cheap? I cant see why everyone doesnt have 8 gb in their laptops.

Good value if you get a working pair

Cheap
Weaknesses:
Inconsistent quality
Summary:
The first two sets that I tried had one bad stick each. The third set was okay. Sometimes a computer can appear to work fine even with a bad stick but eventually it will lock up. Run memtest after you have installed new ram to ensure that you don't have a faulty stick.

Great Ram for Mac Product

Summary:
Bought 2 set of 8G RAM. Installed a set on 2008 Unibody Macbook and installed another set on the 2011 i7 Quad Mini. So far so good. After I upgraded both Mac to 8G RAM, I can run VirtualBox VM without any issue. I was having issue with 4G so please upgrade to 8G if anyone wants to do VM on Mac OSX, specially, with Lion OS. So far I'm really happy with the RAM.

It Works

Confirming what "James" from Edmonton reported... it works in the Early 2011 17" Macbook Pro. It stands to reason it will work with any Macbook Pros of that generation.

Great price!
Weaknesses:
None so far. If I ever have stability issues with it, I will post another review.
Summary:
Highly Recommended for Early 2011 Macbook Pros. Especially if you use MacOSX 10.7 (Lion). Lion appears to use 2GB idle, therefore it makes sense to run 8GB.

As of this post, this RAM is going for $70 CDN. This is a great price even when not on sale.

Amazing value!

Took me 5 minutes to install this in my 2011 15" MacBook Pro. No issues at all. Save 150$ over upgrading through Apple.
Weaknesses:
None.
Summary:
Buy it now!

Good ram for the 2011 iMac

Cheaper than Crucial ram and works just fine. No stability issues. Ram is at an all time low, get the most you can afford. If you run PS, FCP, VMWare or Parallel you'll thank yourself.
Weaknesses:
Summary:

Perfect for MacBook Pro

Works perfect for my 2011 17" MacBook Pro
Weaknesses:
None so far.
Summary:
Apple charges you $200 for upgrading from 4GB to 8GB, but at here you can pay under $100 for 8GB, and you can sell your original 4GB to offset cost. I highly recommend this memory for MacBook Pro.
