Linux-friendly, just get the newest drivers from NVidia
1080p flawlessly
Capable of audio over HDMI
Silent!! (great for HTPC)
Weaknesses:
None that I can think of
Summary:
Installed it as part of a purpose-built HTPC, running Linux Mint and XBMC. Took a little work to get audio channeled through HDMI, but in the end it worked just fine and I'm no linux expert, so my learning curve is steeper :)
3D desktop effects look awesome on the 1080P TV, as well as HD video of course.
Beware that the heatsink takes quite a bit of space, at least it will render the next PCI slot on your motherboard useless, so check the form factor.
For $35 (with MIR) you can't go wrong!
