Excellent monitor

Strengths:
Excellent monitor, works out of the box as advertised. 3D feature is easy to use, just push a button on the monitor, helpfully labelled "3D" It's a Samsung. so you know it is going to be a quality screen
Weaknesses:
power saving feature with the motion sensor is useless. The monitor is large enough that I'm sitting out of range of the sensor. I'm not a fan of touch controls that Samsung has taken to using. I'd rather have tactile buttons. Glossy screen is very reflective when the background is dark
Summary:
Excellent, though expensive, monitor that will make most any other monitor you use look horrible.

Very pleased

Strengths:
-120 hz - 2d-3d conversion of anything - 27" size is awsome
Weaknesses:
the tri-def software does not work with nvidia cards worth a crap. It is really only meant for ATI cards as far as i can tell. On some games the 2d-3d conversion meshes some high contrast textures together which can be annoying. One nice thing about using the 2-d to 3-d conversion is it does not require any extra horsepower out of your graphics solution as nvidia 3d vision/ tri def does.
Summary:
I would highly recomend this monitor solely on its size and refresh rate. The picture is a amazing upgrade from my old 22" acer monitor. The 3-D conversion works fairly well, with the exceptions mentioned above. I would buy 2 more for surround gaming if i had the money!

Strengths:
The 120hz refresh rate is very, very nice to have. Colours and contrast is excellent compared to my old monitor. This thing is huge, would only recommend if you have a lot of money to spare otherwise wait for the 23 inch version to come out. Very thin bezels which would make for a great multi-monitor setup. Some people complain about the ergonomics and how it only has a 20 degree tilt and no height adjustment but the way I look at it is, just move your chair up or down. View angles are very good
Weaknesses:
3d crosstalk with the included tridef software leaves a lot to be desired. Horrible crosstalk and performance issues. The 3d is very inconsistent, one day it will be awesome and blow my socks off and the next day I'm barely eeking out 15fps. Most likely driver issues which will be sorted out in the future. Another issue is that its hard to find out which input to use for 3d. Displayport, DVI-DL, and HDMI 1.4a all work but they all seem to be equally problematic. Again, most likely a driver issue
Summary:
This is a great 120hz monitor and would suit hardcore fps players well. The 3d functions have a lot to be desired but will most likely be solved with driver updates. I would not recommend this to people who want the 3d capability, wait until this winter and most of the problems should be resolved. Also I would recommend waiting until the 23 inch version of this monitor is available because $700 for a TN display is a bit steep. So only buy this if your a hardcore fps gamer.

A happy FPS gamer

Strengths:
120hz Input
good repsonse
rich color
3 inputs is handy ( dvi, hdmi, dp ) second computer
Weaknesses:
typical viewing angles
did not like the touch sensitive menu buttons ( poor response to touch )
not styled right for multi-monitor setups, but you can if you really want to
Summary:
I am using this for high frame rate gaming, not so much for 3D. If high frame rates are important to you, this monitor is what you want. It is by far the best 120hz 2d monitor i have seen. 120hz+better image quality+27" = WIN.
