Strengths:
-Really fast -Not an OCZ Vertex Plus
Weaknesses:
-None so far
Summary:
I`ve been running this drive for about a month now hosting my OS, and I haven`t had any problems with it. It was recognised by my BIOS right away without any screwing around, and hasn`t corrupted anything (unlike the Vertex Plus that I got sick of fixing and returned). So far it has been a great experience!

requires firmware update and proper drive setting if purchased before the update

fast!
Weaknesses:
problems with crashing/ resolved with update and setting drive type correct.
Summary:
well i had some problems originally with the drive. after doing a bit of research you have to set the driver type to AHCI in the bios and update the firmware. Problems solved. although really it should have been updated in the first place.

Beware of Corsair Sandforce SSD's and Corsair Pre-paid Rebate Cards.

Price/Performance while working.
Weaknesses:
Rebate System (Pre-Paid VISA that isnt reliable), Reliability of SSD is poor.
Summary:
Has failed twice in 2 months. Firmware update 1.3.3 (done by Memx out of courtesy) did not fix the Disk Boot Error from occuring. Corsair Tech Agent explained that my utility "MICROSOFT SECURITY ESSENTIALS" caused an INI file corruption. Sandforce SSD's should not be sold until they become a working stable product.

Good drive once updated

Strengths:
Great speeds, good price
Weaknesses:
Older firmwares suffer from a BSOD and drive drop-out issue.
Summary:
Upgrading to 1.3.3 firmware fixes the BSOD issue.

Doesnt boot...

I cant get the drive to boot at all. These drives were recalled for horrible stability issues. I apparently have a newer version that shouldn't have problems, but it does. Doesn't boot on multiple computers.
Summary:
Avoid this drive.

Buy with Caution

Cheap
Weaknesses:
Reliability it seems
Summary:
Read alot of reviews before buying, so I knew what I was getting myself into. Drive installed really easy, no problems there. Haven't seen a BSOD yet and I often put computer to sleep and even sometimes do a hard shutdown, loaded back up everytime with ALMOST no problems. Only problem I've had is that a couple times after being turned on or being awaked, its forgotten either the mouse or keyboard drivers I believe. Easily fixed by unplugging and and reinserting the device. Worried? Buy the IPR.

RED FLAG do not buy this drive

BSOD then drops out. Hundreds of owners same problem. Read Corsair forums. Corsair acknowledges problem and says they will fix then they stop commenting. They do not answer complaints through their support. Nothing can fix the problem.
Summary:
My computer BSODs twice a day. My previous drive(Vertex 2) was in this system and never had problems. I have tried EVERYTHING to fix this and nothing works. A LOT of other owners have the same problem and Corsair appears to have abandoned support.

Corsair Force Series 3 Solid State Drive SATA III, 120GB ROCKS

Strengths:
- Low Cost
- Stability
- Fast Performance
- Includes 3.5 Mounting Kit
Weaknesses:
- None
Summary:
These are phenomenal drives and have been updated with firmware v1.3 by the manufacturer which seems to have solved some old issues. It even comes with a mounting kit where most other SSD drives from other manufacturers do not.

I bought a few of these for boot drives and noticed an increase in speed and performance especially when booting up and running video applications.

If you are looking to buy an SSD drive, buy this one.

Major flaw with this drive, be careful

Fast, fast, fast
Good Price
Weaknesses:
This drive was recalled in June due to stability issues. MemEx is selling the drives that are exempt from the recall. Corsair says these new versions should be fine.

They are not. I can BSOD my Win7 machine 10/10 times by putting it in Sleep mode and waking it up. Brutal! Will be returning for a stable SSD.

I would stay far away from this drive. The stability issues are real, and happen with basic use.
Summary:
I think these drives have issues with Intel chipsets. If you do not have this chipset then you probably will be fine. Just wanted to want you if you are using the most common chipsets out there though.

Get a Vertex 3

Strengths:
Fast and cheap (due to its very high failure rate)
Weaknesses:
Avoid this drive like the plague. It crashes and drops out of the bios constantly. Fine for a few days then I crash and bios does not find the drive. I have to turn off and wiggle the sata cable to get it to work again. Corsair is aware and have stated there is a problem with sandforce. LOTS OF PEOPLE HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM. It has something to do with the sata cable and or voltage. Corsair says they will rma but what is the point. They say the problem may be in the new drive as well. 1.3
