Terrible

Strengths:
Worked well when it was working.
Weaknesses:
First USB flash drive that I have used that died within 6 months.
Summary:
I can only speak for the CMFVY3-16GB model and not the good CMFVY3S-16GB model that had recently came out. Within 6 months of minor use, this USB flash drive has died. When I plug it in, the drive keeps asking to format it. When you attempt the format, it fails. Corsair is usually recognized as a reliable company, but I would stay away from the CMFVY3-16GB model.

Exactly as advertised

Great USB stick. I actually prefer the larger size since it makes it hard to lose. Lightening fast reads, loop for keychain. Corsair Service.
Weaknesses:
Slow write
Summary:
This does exactly what Corsair says it will do. The reviewers above obviously did not do their homework.

All specs for these drives are easily available on the manufacturers website, like any other product. These sticks perform almost as fast as a hard drive reading, but slower than USB 2.0 (read) speeds for writing. Once full up, reading is lightening fast.

Underwhelming performance

Strengths:
-Low price
-Fast read on USB3
Weaknesses:
-Too big (what is with corsair and huge USB drives?)
-Slow write, regardless of USB 2 or 3
Summary:
Had to try a USB3 stick. Slow write speed. Same as other reviewer, 20 MB/sec max even on USB3. I have a Patriot USB2 stick that does 27 MB/sec write. Flash storage chips will need some refinement in order to properly take advantage of USB3 in my opinion. Performance didn't significantly change in FAT32, NTFS or exFat. Read speeds 60-70 MB/sec on USB3, which at least justifies it enough for me to keep it.

Disappointed

Strengths:
Mmm, rubery?
Weaknesses:
Disappointingly slow.
Summary:
I had been waiting a while to finally get a USB 3 thumb drive and was instantly disappointed with the 20MB transfer speed I got while transferring a 2 gig file to the stick. It's better than USB 2, but not quite the 60-70MB I've been getting from the USB 3 Vantec HD dock I have. I'll be returning this and spend the extra to get one of the "speedy" sticks that actually advertise their speeds.
