- Summary:
- I went in looking to buy a different power supply of the same wattage to replace my old power supply less than two weeks ago. According to the website they should have had better than 10 on site of that other highly rated model. Got there and there were none of that and this one was the only one of the wattage and price I needed. Clerk said 'only one I have to sell you'. Worked for a short while then suddenly quit. Wasted 70.00 dollars. Going to have to go get a different one tomorrow.
Avoid at all cost.

- I agree with Don, this PSU emanates an irritating and unbearable high pitch sound that makes you want to rip it out the computer and stomp on it. I'd stay away from it even if it's on sale.

Supper quiet PSU and cool

- I just bought this unit today, and I installed it after I got home from work. It's super quiet PSU and very nice design. Its size from the back little smaller than the older one that I had so I don't have to screw all 4 screws (just 2 screws will do). This model is the same as Corsair CX600 600W Power Supply about the connectors.

- Correction from the previous reviewer. Yes it doesn't have the 4 pins power, but the 8 pins power also works for the old motherboard, too. At beginning I didn't notice there wasn't 4 pins power from PSU, so I plugged the 6 pins PCI, and then I noticed my PC didn't running (when I hit the power on). Oops I switch the 8 pins power and plug it into my motherboard 4 pins power holes it's running.
- Summary:
- So this PSU designs for both old and new motherboard I don't have a new motherboard yet, but I guess the 8 pins power is what the new PSU has on it.

Very quite I could hear the 140mm system fan more than the 120mm fan on this system. - Weaknesses:
- No 4 pin connector for older mother boards....
If you have to mount in upside down cases all the sata connectors are turned around.
Black paint on psu is scratched very easy. - Summary:
- I like this PS provides nice flow to a older system that I am slowley upgreading to a new i5 configuration, I would recommend to anyone with a standard case with PS mounted in the usual spot. I would not buy this PS if you are mounting on a bottom psu mount.
