- Canmore has notoriously bad power! Everything from power surges, to real deal brownouts. Honestly, both a U.P.S. and power-cleaner should be used when powering expensive electronic components. With that being said, this power supply operates without issue, here in Canmore, plugged directly in the socket. I use these power supplies for my personal/family computer system builds. Every unit I've purchased has been flawless! This product has earned it's 5 star rating IMO.
500 watts of pure greatness.

- Works great with current configuration. can;t go wrong with 500w for 60.00. If you are skeptical then remember to also buy a battery backup, power surge protector bar and back up your system, this you should do anyway. May i suggest going 750w minimum now. 500w if your systems psu is shot and just need a quick replacement.

- Purchased the power supply for a new computer build and it did not work, took it back and got a new one and that made a high pitched noise so finally they gave us 1 that worked. After 2 returns and we finally get 1 to work? Come on Corsair!
Good cheap PSU
