- - quick and easy install - did not need to update firmware - fast, fast, fast - load times are blazing quick. I also run Star Wars: The Old Republic off this drive. Loads uber-fast. - great for running your OS. Consider installing it using a bootable thumb drive. Installed in under 15 min. - came with a 2.5" to 3.5" adapter (didn't use it as my case already had one).

- This is my first foray into SSDs and I'm very happy. Install went quickly and loading the OS on it was a breeze. - Poor OCZ. They released the drive with absolute crap firmware and will have a tough time living it down. I picked mine up from MemEx with the latest firmware (2.15) installed and have had absolutely no issues. Remember to enter BIOS on initial boot and set SATA controller to AHCI. Download OCZ's bootable tools for an easy GUI to check firmware, you can do this on your brand new machine provided your boot sequence is set properly in BIOS. .

- Only reason 4/5 is because I had problems before firmware 2.15, I would get random BSOD and BIOS would not recognize drive. Works perfectly now.
Suggest Memory Express to do a firmware upgrade.

- Suggested firmware upgrade. (Recommended). The functionality is a hit and miss if you don't. Speed greatly improves after. Requires another PC to connect as a secondary drive to do firmware upgrade. PC must have Windows 7 to do the firmware upgrade.
- Summary:
- Out of the box, there are a few issues. Issues listed on OCZ website, but is resolved with the firmware upgrade. Overall, it is excellent and affordable. Website support is great compared to (others.)
