failed got replacement and had reboot issue and the front usb 3.0 didn't work missing pin on replacement mother board. Still ongoing trying to get one that works.
Summary:
I would still use ASUS but won't spend so much go with a cheaper board and always get replacement insurance.
- Fast
- Lots of room to play with settings for over-clocking
- USB 3.0
- Blue Tooth
- Onboard setting with LED info
- $10 off
Weaknesses:
- Was hard to stabilize with Ram suggested by Memory Express (not on Asus's QVL)
- Board is revision (means to me they didn't make it right the first time)
Summary:
Built system with the i7 2700 processor - Corsair XMS3 1600 and a ATI 9650 graphic card. Once together I had 2 days of trouble with computer freezing and locking up. After more research and reading reviews it seems these complaints are common with buyers. Make sure your Ram is on QVL. Had to set Ram to 1333 MHz and change other default settings to make stable. Ram suggested by Memory Express was M1 variety - make sure you get the M2 Ram as recommended by Asus's QVL.
