- Strengths:
- cheap, quiet, and works well
- Weaknesses:
- none after 3+ years
- Summary:
- I've had this heatsink/fan for over three years, and it's still running. The fan usually idles around 800 rpm. It's quiet, that was the big seller for me. Even if the fan ramps up, it's still quiet. I have this fan on an AMD2+ and Intel 775 CPUs, very versatile. I'm picking up another for an AMD3+ system.
A great UPGRADE from stock fan and heat sink!

- Strengths:
- -Fan is extremely quiet (even at high controlled RPM)
-Heatsink is consistently cooler than the ambient temperature inside the tower.
-Perfect fit for those who use stock towers like HP, Dell, Acer etc
-Horizontal placement provides better air ventilation
-Mounting is very strong is sturdy
- Weaknesses:
- The push pins they provide for the intel chipset will not fit AT ALL for those who have motherboards that require screw mounting. However, I was able to rip apart my hold heatsink screws off and substituted the push pins with the original screws.
- Summary:
- I originally purchased the Antec 920 liquid cooling kit (and did not notice much difference, I was kindly explained by the experts at Mem. Express that not all towers will provide a significant drop). However, they recommended me this (Freezer 13). I noticed at idle (with room temperature at 25 Celcius) I will have a consistent 35 Celcius and barely reach 50 Celcius under a full load. I am very impressed with the product. I also recommend to replace the thermal paste with Arctic Coolin MX-4
Works like it should

- - looks
- cooler temperatures on cpu
- easy install
- Thermo is pre-applied
- Weaknesses:
- - none I see
- Summary:
- Does the job as well as a water cooled system after reading the reviews of customers here getting temps with liquid coolers the same or more as what I get with the Arctic Cooler 13. I'm running Intel Core™ i7-2600K Processor, 3.4 GHz over clocked to 4.8 GHz on P8P67 mobo, Idle- 22-25, Maxed - 40-64 (using realtemp) to monitor. Build is in Antec 900 case 3-120 mm fans. Note: Computer is in cooler basement enviro.

- Strengths:
- Small size will fit into a Antec 900 case with the side fan installed.
You don't have to pull the motherboard out of a 900 case to install it.
Idles at 40C but does not get hotter than 50C after an hour of prime95 which is in keeping with the hyper 212 which will not fit in a 900 case unless the side fan is removed.
- Weaknesses:
- Does'nt give you the low ambient temps that the cooler master hyper 212+ does. (Room temp plus 3 or 4 degees on ide)
- Summary:
- this is a fresh install on a core 2, 2.83G Q9550. I'll let you know how it goes. Tip: use artic silver5
