Size and appearance
Space for full size video card
Great layout for HDDs
Can fit large CPU coolers (see summary)
Full size PSU
Weaknesses:
Sides do not lock (can be slippery)
Top mounted USB housing is poorly built (falls out now and then, can fix with glue)
Requires slimline optical drive; no eject button.
Summary:
Used this PC in a build with the following:
Asus Rampage III Gene; Core i7-960; Corsair DDR3-1600 3x2gb CL8; Asus EAH6950; Silverstone 1000W Strider Gold and PP05 short cables; Sony Optiarc slim Bluray drive.
Note that any SATA slimline drive will fit perfectly. If you go with a modular power supply, I would recommend getting short cables if they are available.
- Unique design
- Lots of space for a small footprint
- Seems to cool well
- Hot Swap bay
- lots of decent quality fans included
Weaknesses:
- special slim line drive required
- can't lock side panels
Summary:
Really like this little case. Cable routing was very nice and it seems to cool very well. Not a fan of the proprietary optical drive but I am going to go without, can't really remember the last time I needed one on my desktop machine.
