- Bought 10 of these for backup storage for Apple computers. Vast and cheap, getting around 30MB/sec on a USB 2.0 connection.
- Weaknesses:
- Take quite a bit of time to reformat for Apple.
- Summary:
- Not fast, but vast. Best bang for the buck out there.

USB 3.0 as good as esata for transfer speed. - Weaknesses:
- Unusable in Asus O Player, and many other media devices that use
USB drives.
Unfortunate, since video storage is what most people will
try to use this product for. Forums say a firmware or other fix
is unlikely at this time. So keep this plugged in to a new machine only. - Summary:
- A perfectly good drive for desktop archive use.
