- With 13 customizable buttons there are few others that come close to allowing you to control this many actions with your mouse.
- Ability to adjust LED glow colour with a few million colour choices and 3 pulse+solid adjustments.
- Multiple DPI settings with the ability to bind adjustment up/down/set vailue to mouse buttons.
- Solid construction.
Weaknesses:
- HUGE!!!
- Only way to use customizable buttons outside of WoW is to "trick" the software or record custom macro.
- Thumb buttons are where you would usually grip the mouse. Found I was accidentally pressing buttons I didn't want to.
- Unless you have a hand that makes a basketball look like a baseball, you will find this mouse to be quite large and unwieldy.
- Size makes most mouse pads look like decorative dollies. Make sure you have about a 1' sq. space or mouse pad.
Summary:
For someone who enjoys a variety of games, I found this mouse to be much too specialized for MMOs to be of use in FPS games. It would function reasonably well for RTS, but I still found the size to be distracting. I don't have small hands, heck I make a double whopper look like a junior, but I found this mouse to be uncomfortable at best, unmanageable at worst. The Legendary Edition MMO mouse is smaller and appears to be more manageable.
very responsive
little visible wear after half a year of use so far
tons of buttons all placed relatively well, makes wow much easier
Weaknesses:
if your not used to it, it is pretty big, when i tried to use my smaller mice again, i couldn't because they felt so miniscule.
can't really program the buttons for things outside of wow, of course that might just be me being a noob...
Summary:
this is my first gaming mouse so i can't say if it's better or worse, but it has served its purpose well for me and i got it when they had it on sale so bonus!
