- Strengths:
- Overall, great cooling performance.
Quality mounting bracket - no flex.
Good value for what it does.
Wide range of compatibility.
- Weaknesses:
- Loud, stock fans. Included resistors don't do much.
Large cooler means less space to work with.
Bottom fins interfere with taller RAM modules.
Fan brackets are cheaply made.
- Summary:
- This product was an impulse buy after price matching with another store.
Definitely performs - make it better by swapping the fans for quieter ones.
It was a hassle to install, but mounting was straight forward.
Looking back, I wish I went for another option.
Good Cooling, Cheap Materials

- Strengths:
- -Cool Well
-Looks Nice
-Decent Price
-Packaged Well
- Weaknesses:
- -Cheap, thin plastic surrounds for fans
-Stock fans are noisy
-Mounting is not easy
-Sketchy Instructions
-Poor Customer Support
- Summary:
- This cooler works well and is priced so alright, but the stock fans are cheap and noisy, and in trying to swap them to Noctua fans, the brutally cheap, thin, plastic surrounds that hold the fans to the heatsink both snapped.
Cooler is now useless and Corsair support wouldn't help.
Pretty bad for what I thought was a high-end company with top-notch products.
Great at cooling!

- Strengths:
- Large, efficient grills
- Weaknesses:
- Louder than stock cooler on LGA 775
- Summary:
- Only thing about this cooler that surprised me was the decibel gain from the new fans, even with the resistive speed reducer. I am not sure why this is.
As for the actual cooler, it works incredibly. After realizing the dB level won't go down, I figured I'd try overclocking my E6750. I have it running stable a whole gHz over stock, and this cooler keeps it idling at 35 degrees. That's cool!
Awesome Cooling

- Strengths:
- Quiet and cool for my CPU. Mounting bracket was easy to install. Easy to take off and reinstall as well. So big.
- Weaknesses:
- SO BIG. Make sure you have a big case. As well I am using RAM with cooling fins. If I put in 4 sticks of RAM the Cooler won't fit. Luckily I only have 2. When I upgrade the Ram then it will be Corsair Liquid Cooling.
- Summary:
- This is a great fan and when on sale a super deal. Just make sure you have a case that is big enough for it. I have a Cooler Master 690II Advanced and it fits but the ram can't have heat sinks if you are using 4 sticks. Overall a great dea.

- Strengths:
- -Substantially Quieter than my stock Intel i5-650 Heat sync
-My CPU under 100% of load is only at 28-35 degrees an 20 Degrees difference than my old heat sync
-Doesn't consume so much energy
-The accessories very handy and useful
-Thermal compound is standard but it's good to use
- Weaknesses:
- -Was a bit of a hassle to install it especially the back mounting unit
-The instruction were a bit sketchy or a little too brief because there was one step I had to learn on my own and that was screwing the top mounting plate with the base
-I don't know if this is a weakness to others but my computer case is really small, its with is just under 15 cm so with the heat sync I can't close the side panel and I had to remove a couple of things to get it to fit but it's not a big deal though
- Summary:
- I am beginner to the world of computing but with the A70 it was easy to install a new heat sync and this product works very well in terms of my CPU (i5-650). I think I plan to do a full upgrade soon but Corsair has done an amazing job with this heat sync and is definitely working for me.
