- Strengths:
- None.
- Weaknesses:
- - Poor installation instructions
- Takes a lot of effort to install
- Require separate fan control to reduce fan noise
- Thermal pads easily come off
- Temps when under load was WORSE compared to stock cooler on EVGA GTX 570
- Summary:
- After meticously cleaning all surfaces with isopropyl alcohol before adhering the heatsinks, 3 of the darned things fell off after a few minutes. Unfortunately, this happened while the card was under heavy load. With the high temps involved, my trusty GTX 570 didn't stand a chance. So it's good bye EVGA GTX 570, hello Asus Matrix Platinum GTX 580!

- Strengths:
- - 4-pin fan connector is compatible with most GPU boards.
- Nice design.
- Excellent fan speeds.
- Weaknesses:
- - Loud at maximum.
- No fan control with some boards. (default is max.)
- Not compatible with some reference boards due to the long pipes near base.
- Not suitable for 6900 series cards as indicated. Heatsink and cooler are insufficient and are likely rated below the wattage of these cards.
- Summary:
- I bought these with the belief that there were compatible with reference boards such as the 2 6950's I own. That was not the case. Turns out that the extended copper pipes at the base come in contact with a capacitor on my card. Unfortunately I had already used some of the materials in prepping the fan for mounting. With some extensive modifications with a Dremel tool I was able to make them compatible. I do not recommend this cooler.

- Strengths:
- - Amazing cooling
- Looks nice
- Very Quiet
- Weaknesses:
- - Bad instructions (watch a YouTube vid for help)
- Summary:
- Brought my GTX275 down 20 degrees!! I was amazed, but it was a really tricky install because the size of this thing IS HUGE (thus the 4/5 rating).
If you did a visual mock up, I'd say you could imagine the width of your vid-card as it is now and add on another 1/4 inch. If it fits you'll be very happy!!

quiet. even at 2000 rpm
comes with own themopaste
can hook right into videocard fan power connect if you have a 4 pin plug on the card
- Weaknesses:
- not easy to install.
themotape is not easy to apply
fans are not adjustable unless you use your system or extenal controllor
a bit heavy
- Summary:
- I got the unit to replacement to my stock refenece cooler for my 6950.
which was great because it now even running unlock shader and oc 960/1400 the card never goes over 65c. before i was running the card with shader unlock and oc 910/1350 @ 78c and the fan was at 50%
so that is a major boost!
great product! the next best thing would be a water block i guess!

- Excellent Cooling, Average 20' C drop in temperature.
- Weaknesses:
- Bad instructions. Watch Youtube vids on how to install.
- Summary:
- Excellent cooling!!! On the stock cooler of my EVGA GTS 450 video card I was running about 68' C and I could only play for about 2 hours before the heat would start glitching the game play. After installing the Gelid Icy Vision 2 I am running at 45' C and I have played for 8 hours strait with no glitching. This is the best $60 investment to save your video card.
Very impressed

- Works great! Brought my video card temperature down from 112 to around 40 degrees.
- Weaknesses:
- Took a while to install, but it's probably partly because I've never built a computer before. It helped to read the instructions and to watch several YouTube videos.
Doesn't come with thermal compound remover.
- Summary:
- Been using it for about a week and no problems so far.
Awesome Cooler

- Strengths:
- -ATI HD 4850 (over 2 years old) card had stock fan seize and was turned into an expensive paper weight.
-Fan plugged nicely into board with no adapters required.
-Brought idle temps down from +70 to 30 very nice. Didn't try overclock but could see a great increase in performance and stable with such low temps.
-Lots Of Extra parts more then enough heat sinks.
-2 fans run off one power connector .
- Weaknesses:
- -Big 2 slot cooler although fits in mid case. Heavy, very heavy.
-Installation instructions very generic.
-Thermal double sided tape hard to pull both sides off.
-Took over an hour to put everything together.
-Required mixing and matching of heatsinks to cool properly.
- Summary:
- A few of the weaknesses are to be expected with how many cards this cooler supports. Overall very worth the money considering I get to use the card again and lower temps will increase the life of the card. The cooler has a nice look to it. Like any aftermarket cooler for a video card requires attention to detail and patience when installing. Great product overall recommended for anyone looking to OC or replace stock cooling.
