Was expecting USB 3.0 .... but got...?

- None of my USB 3.0 devices will operate as such when attached via this hub. They all work fine when plugged directly into the motherboard ports. But when using this hub windows 7 warns that it detects a USB 3.0 device attached via 2.0 port or hub. Also the host side cable is short to the point of useless.
- Summary:
- So it was basically a waste of time and money.
It's ok, but cord way too short.

USB connector (upstream) is way to short (only 41" - just shy of 4 feet) for easy placement or for shelving.
you will probaby end up buying yet another cord.
upstream connector looks slightly different. - Summary:
- I didn't like the length of the upstream cord (from this unit to pc) it's just 41". Should have been 4 feet at least (6 feet optimal). Makes it hard for placement.
You can easily get a longer cord that will fit (the standard USB) when using USB 2.0 devices
I haven't tried the standard USB cord with 3.0 devices, but that could mean you'll be buying Another cord.
