Jarvis G from Calgary writes:
Strengths:
1. Quick way to disable the windows key. (so you wont tab out gaming). 2. Keys are close together for minimum distance for strokes. 3. Razer Configurator support. (makes it easy to create complex macros). 4. Quick Media Keys (volume up, down and mute. play, stop, forward and backward. 5. Mechanical. 6. very comfortable to type with. 7. Price.
Weaknesses:
1. having the buttons close together takes some time to get used to. 2. keyboard is heavy. (as to be expected with any mechanical keyboard).
Summary:
Its a great keyboard for any gamer or typer. Very comfortable to use and having the added media functions really is a great feature. it looks great and is definitely a must buy for most gamers. I've been using a Black Widow since release. I have yet to have any issue and the keyboard still works like new. if you want this keyboard but with more features check out the Black Widow Ultimate.

NONE!
Weaknesses:
keyboard fail! on-board electronics failed.
Summary:
2 keyboards first one failed after 5 months of light duty use. Did IPR Replacement (thank you staff @ Memory Express). they are good people there. anyway s new replacement plugged it in and failed in a very big way... So i have nothing good to say about this board,,,,, I would suggest the Corsair K60 for FPS and the K90 for the rest of you gamers out there......

Great keyboard

Strengths:
- Looks very sleek - Great, tactile keys - Despite what some others say, I use my computer all day at work and find this keyboard vastly superior to a standard one, even for typing - There is no going back to a mushy regular keyboard after using a mechanical one. This keyboard will ruin all others for you
Weaknesses:
- Glossy top surface is a fingerprint magnet - Strange key font confuses novice users who need look at the keys - The position of the macro keys takes some getting used to
Summary:
This keyboard is very good. I noted a few weaknesses, but these are really minor - users should know what they are buying, but I wouldn't be discouraged by these few minor details. It takes a bit of getting used to, but creates a much more enjoyable keyboarding experience. Highly recommended

I love the keyboard. It's worth the buy. It took me 2 weeks to get it but it was worth the wait. Once the keyboard comes into memoryexpress it is sold the next day. It's a popular keyboard.
Weaknesses:
Clicking Takes some time getting use to
Summary:
Buy it

Very Satisfied

Very well built product. Very good product for the price. If you are looking to switch from regular keyboard to a mechanical under a budget, you cannot go wrong with this keyboard. Love the Clicky noise this makes when typing and currently using this keyboard to play SC II. Love it and highly recommend it.
Weaknesses:
Macro Keys take some time to get use to. For the first week I kept hitting Macro Key 5 instead of CTRL.
Summary:

best keyboard I've ever owned

Strengths:
It took me a single ladder game of starcraft 2 to fall in love with this keyboard.
Its a dream to type and game on, and I can safely say that I will never settle for a non-mechanical keyboard ever again.
It actually looks like its high quality and will last a long time.
Weaknesses:
macro buttons on the left hand side are extraneous imo
no space between caps lock and 'A' key will take some time to get used to, I've turned on caps repeatedly by mistake
Summary:
well worth the money. I definitely think that the ultimate version of this keyboard is not worth the extra $50, so if you're stuck deciding between the two I'd suggest getting the standard version. Everyone I know that has one of these is in love with it, and its by far the best keyboard that Razer has ever released.

Not what you expect

Strengths:
super fast key response
keyboard is freaking heavy, won't move anywhere
the key clicks sound amazing, especially the space bar
well built, feels like a quality product
i bought the IPR for the keyboard well wort the price
Weaknesses:
takes a lot to get use to
super cramped, awesome for gaming, but if you spend a lot of time typing this is going to cause some major strain on the wrist
Summary:
this is strictly a gaming keyboard, everything is so tight and well though of, playing any high apm game is going to be a blast on this keyboard

do not get this keyboard for everyday use, otherwise you will be spending a lot of money at the physio therapists
