Great Cooling

5/5

Strengths:
It’s very quiet and powerful, and a great feature it offers is that you can use the fan control knob that comes with it to manually increase it for extra cooling.
Weaknesses:
None
Summary:
It’s a great product, I picked it up when it was $29 but even at $44 it’s well worth it, also I was surprised when I actually saw it in person, all I’ll say is you can tell it works when you see it, the online picture is an understatement.

Strengths:
Had great difficulty finding a fan that would fit in my case and my Crosshair board. Through some excellent customer service at ME, came up with this one and boy has it done the trick. Dropped the temperature15 degrees at 100% on the CPU an Athlon Phenom II 6 core. Couldn't be happier with the product or the service I received.
Weaknesses:
None so far, perhaps a little noisy but still minor.
Summary:
It,s early but I am very happy with the performance so far and kudos to ME for the great customer service.

Looks nice, massive array of fins and 6 heat pipes, but...
Weaknesses:
Poor heat transfer - the low quality chrome covered and thin "plate" that sits on the CPU is not smooth, and does not connect well with the 6 heat pipes

You can literally SEE THROUGH where the plate and the heat pipes are, creating very little actual contact/transfer to soak up the heat from the CPU

This cooler uses a single SLOTTED push pin setup for intel 775, 1366, and 1156 CPU's, making centering it on the CPU a lot tricky
Summary:
I bought this cooler when it was $54.99 just a mere one week ago, and it has already dropped by $10

I thought being a $50ish cooler it would be "adequate" for my cooling needs. I just wanted something quieter than the stock intel cooler, and hope it would drop my temps even just a few degrees. This cooler is running hotter than the stock cooler

Save your money and don't waste your time on this item. I'm packing mine up and it's going in my box of "rejected" parts...
