Relabeled Saitek Eclipse

Strengths:

Adjustable brightness for key backlighting.
Palm pad.
Moderately tall rear tilt stands.
Indicator lights to confirm Caps Lock, Num Lock, etc.

Weaknesses:

Poorly constructed; plastic (around internal part hold down screws) breaks away when taking it apart and reassembling to clean... even with being ever so careful.
Ultra smooth keys with no tactile feel.
Odd cut away curvature on palm pad (in the middle) when properly placing hands onto the keyboard.
Not a very comfortable keyboard.

Summary:

The Cyborg V.5 is an 'okay' keyboard that tends to feel cheap and weak. Perhaps this keyboard is a tad quieter key stroke than bargain bin keyboards, but it seems quite noisy to me. I have had this keyboard for over a year now and only recently spilled juice onto it which seemed to short out a couple of keys, but I will not be replacing it with another as I'm choosing a different one.

In my humble opinion, without the backlight feature, this keyboard holds nothing special over a basic keyboard.
